My name is Justin Reed, and I’m an aspiring author. I’ve been an aspiring author since I was in junior high. Recently, I took the drastic step of quitting my job to aspire full-time.

In my prior life, I built investment accounting platforms for a firm in my home town. I was the second engineer hired, and created systems for fifteen years. I was, and am, proud of what I did in my engineering career. Yet I couldn’t resist the pull of creating stories rather than software. 

I live in Boise, Idaho with my wife and our four children (yes, we’re busy).

p.s. – my wife introduced a family ritual of taking selfies at every library we encounter. This is me at the public library in Bournemouth, England when I was there on business.
